Welcome to another Technology Spotlight, where we highlight the exciting, innovative event technology being featured at an upcoming show. This time around we’re focusing on the ExhibitorLIVE conference, taking place at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas from March 12-16, 2017.

Here’s a quick blurb about the show:

“EXHIBITORLIVE is the Face-to-Face Training Conference and Expo for Trade Show and Event Marketers. This five-day educational event features 160+ sessions and workshops with the industry’s largest exhibit hall, including nearly 300 exhibitors. This is where you will find the latest products and resources shaping the future of exhibiting and corporate event programs.”

Here are a few of our favorites from the new technology being showcased!

1. SocialPoint – Virtual Prize Wheel

socialpoint virtual prize wheel EXHIBITORLIVE
SocialPoint’s Virtual Prize Wheel (Booth #1812) is a great solution for gamification, lead capture, surveys and audience interaction at events of all kinds. Prize wheels have always been a favorite at events, and SocialPoint has taken this simple concept and modernized it. The system’s software monitors inventory and tracks what each attendee wins so exhibitors can personalize follow-ups after the show.  In addition, the virtual prize wheel allows attendees to opt into their preferred level of follow-up. This means exhibitors can easily find the best leads and contact them quickly.

2. Exhibitry – HoloHost Interactive

Exhibitry (Booth #1063) has a few different technologies that made our list. The first is their HoloHost Interactive series, which creates life-size video hologram of a presenter who can greet and educate booth visitors. There’s an option to keep the presentation running on intervals, or the interactive model adds a touch screen for triggered responses. Ever since the Tupac hologram made waves a few years back, we’ve been excited to see more of this tech at events.

3. Kaon Interactive – VR & AR systems

Kaon Interactive (Booth #1666) is using Google’s Tango technology platform to combine virtual 3-D objects with real-world environments. It’s a great solution for virtual product demos when you can’t feature the real thing in your booth. Augmented reality is really popular right now and this is sure to be a fun, interactive component of the show. Though currently only compatible with Oculus Rift, other VR platforms are expected soon, including HTC Vive and Samsung VR.

4. ONU One – 3D Visualization

“Show, don’t tell” is the motto of ONU One VR systems (Booth #1670), and they provide 3D visualization software for live events, e-commerce sites and presentations. One of the best things about ONU’s VR systems is their compatibility with Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, Samsung Gear, AND Google Cardboard hardware. Animations are also a major feature of their software, so users can see movements and product compositions in addition to fully rendered models.

5. PeopleVisionFX – Photon HoloImager

PeopleVisionFX (Booth #954) offer an all-in-one hologram solution that includes everything you need to transform 2D content into 3D product models, animations, charts and more. The Photon HoloImager works by positioning hologram emitters next to a 2D screen to create a lifelike hologram that appears in front of the screen. They have options for audiences of all sizes, from tabletop displays to full theater installations, and you’re sure to see a great demo at the show!

6. Exhibitry – Sensory Dome & PanoVue Theater

Sensory Dome EXHIBITORLIVE 2017
Offering attendees an immersive experience in a theater-like setting typically requires a massive exhibit and a proportionately sized budget to cover shipping and drayage. But the Sensory Dome from Exhibitry (Booth #1063) delivers an interactive viewing experience in a 100-square-foot space and can be packed into a modestly sized carton thanks to its inflatable screen. (A rigid model is also available for longer-term and permanent installations.) The concave structure offers a 180-degree view of real-world or simulated environments that can be manipulated via a hand-held device or a touch screen embedded stand.

We hope everyone has a great time this year at ExhibitorLIVE! Check in with us again soon when we shine the technology spotlight on another upcoming show.
