Event Coordinator (Part-Time)

Meeting Tomorrow is a 13 year old company with a startup feel, with a team of 70 friendly employees, 2 dogs, headquartered in the Ravenswood corridor of Chicago. We service the event industry by providing technology services and equipment to enable live and virtual events nationwide. We do 10,000+ events a year ranging anywhere from small sales meeting setups to large conferences with thousands of attendees. What we need:

We’re looking for an Event Coordinator to join our team to support our Event Services team after hours.  Meeting Tomorrow is available to our clients at all hours and we need someone to help fill in the gaps on Saturdays and Sundays and also from 7:00pm – 10:00pm CT on weekdays.

We are looking for two people to fill these roles and can be flexible on the structure and shifts.  If you’re available to work until 10pm and open to working on weekends, read on!

About the role:

  • Procure technology and audiovisual equipment and services through a national and local partner network to enable nationwide events
  • Review event specifics and expectations and hire partners that meet the qualifications needed to ensure event success
  • Communicate order details for nationwide events to clients, technicians, and vendors
  • Provide lightning-fast response to client requests and live support needs
  • Monitor event management processes by confirming milestones with technicians and onsite client event contacts
  • Enter event details into computer system
  • Assist with other in-office projects as needed
