What we need:
We’re currently looking to add an additional Event Manager to our Account Services team. The Event Manager role at Meeting Tomorrow is responsible for the success of our accounts – interfacing directly with the client and managing the relationships post-sale. They collaborate with all departments internally from sales to event support to ensure a great client experience.
About the role:
Plan events from start to finish
Develop and have complete ownership over event project plan: coordinate and communicate with all necessary parties (clients, vendors, technicians, internal teams)
Act as the liaison between internal teams, vendors, technicians and customers to ensure successful events
Build strong client relationships for accounts that have anywhere from 1 to 100 events per year
Work with sales team to translate expectations into deliverables
Communicate project details and updates to the client for upcoming events
Execute project deadlines and ongoing account management tasks
Contingency planning to get ahead of potential issues
Manage issue resolution
Who you are:
At least 2 years of event planning experience required
Experience conceptualizing events for more than 500 attendees
Creative and scrappy problem solver
Excellent and eager negotiator
Helpful and empathetic to customer needs
Able to build relationships well over the phone
Understands time management
Embracing of fast-paced, high-growth work environment
Efficient and organized multitasker
