What we need:
Meeting Tomorrow is growing! We are looking for a Strategic Account Director to join our team who will play a vital role in accelerating our growth. This person will be responsible for new major account acquisition through targeting high-level decision makers to partner with MT on their AV and technology needs. Through repeated outreach, developing relationships and communicating MT’s value, they are responsible for bringing in new business.
About the role:
Identify opportunity for potential companies and industries. Position is responsible for bringing in accounts that spend $1M annually.
Research opportunities, contacts and potential AV needs for new business.
Repeatedly make new contacts and network to grow potential client base within target account base of 25-50 companies.
Create outbound campaigns and presentations for upper management and C-level executives.
Target new business through companies that have never worked with MT or significant growth within existing MT accounts.
Who you are:
We are looking for a hunter with a successful sales track record and event industry experience.
This person should have experience selling AV production services and event technology to corporate meeting planners and executives that oversee event departments.
Minimum of 5 years business to business sales experience within the event industry
Experience selling AV production services and event technology to corporate meeting planners and executives that oversee event departments.
Experience uncovering and closing six-figure deals.
Able to accept rejection and remain persistent
Great communication skills with clients and internal team
