What we need:

This is not your typical warehouse!  Meeting Tomorrow provides complex and customized services to our clients.  Our Warehouse team  stages and assembles gear for large-scale production events and creates customized technology solutions for iPad and laptop rentals.  We are looking for a Warehouse Director that will oversee all aspects of our warehouse operation – receiving, shipping, order processing, laptop and iOS imaging, and AV/technology QC.  Our business is constantly adapting to the needs of our clients and we are looking for a Warehouse Director who can guide a large team through these changes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily operations of warehouse: receiving, fulfillment, shipping, and customization operations
  • Lead team of 15+ employees by solving problems, providing direction, and facilitating effective communication and teamwork, always leading by example
  • Grow and manage a motivated and hard-working warehouse team, through performance management, coaching and professional development
  • Oversee daily logistics and ensure successful execution of all inbound and outbound customer orders through different processes and controls
  • Create goals and metrics for Warehouse team
  • Liaise with all internal teams to ensure proper workflow and effective communication

Skills & Experience:

  • 5 years of advanced leadership role in operation management, preferably in an equipment rental organization
  • Passionate about cultivating talent, motivating and continuous improvement
  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or business administration preferred
  • Knowledge of the A/V / production / event technology industry preferred
  • Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
  • Customer service minded; understands how this function impacts success of MT’s events
  • Proven leadership and management skills
  • Familiarity with FedEx and small parcel shipping preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Committed to quality assurance

Physical requirements:

Ability to lift 35 pounds and spend up to 100% of work time standing or moving.
