Ministers and Missionaries Benefit Board
Ministers and Missionaries Benefit Board (MMBB) is a non-profit faith-based member organization whose ministry provides sound financial and church administration tools and guidance to help clergy and lay church workers achieve their financial goals and build financial wellness. They approached us to help plan their first financial conference and deliver a transformational experience for their attendees. Since this was MMBB’s first conference, they were looking for experts to guide them through the planning process. That’s where our team came in to understand their objectives, provide an event project plan, and make their first conference a less intimidating endeavor. Our event planners took MMBB’s vision and executed the transformational experience they were hoping for.
- 2 ½ day conference in Philadelphia where over 180 attendees gathered from across the country
- Event spaces included (1) general session room, (4) breakout rooms, (8) one-on-one appointment rooms, and (4) additional rooms for meals, prayer, and health and safety.
- Coordinated all pre-event logistics, including venue and vendor management, site visits, registration, and exhibitor management.
- Directed all onsite logistics, including staff training, AV setup for live entertainment, and stage management.
- Coordinated VIP guest management for Emmy-winning business analyst Jill Schlesinger, and Grammy-winning artist Bishop Hezekiah Walker.
- A leak in one of the breakout rooms triggered a fire alarm during the general session. Our event planners kept everyone calm, and safely evacuated everyone according to hotel protocols. Afterwards, our planners quickly readjusted by opening up new rooms, updating signage, and just like that, things were running back to normal.
